CHAI Lifeline Half-Marathon

Arielle Blum, a senior at HHNE, has undertaken an enormous challenge - running a half-marathon to raise Tzedaka for CHAI Lifeline. She has been training very hard in preparation for the race at the end of this month.

CHAI Lifeline is an international organization that provides year-round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 3,000 very sick children and their families every year. Through two-dozen free programs and services that touch each member of the family, CHAI Lifeline helps children with life-threatening and lifelong illnesses and their families live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness.

When Avi died almost two years ago, CHAI Lifeline provided tremendous emotional support and books.

Arielle's commitment is to raise $3,600 by race day. I urge you to support her by making a donation to a very worthy charity. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Please contribute by visiting her personal Team Lifeline website.

As Arielle wrote in her own letter: "Thank you for supporting me, and in doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and aftermath of serious pediatric illness."
