Two Kiddush cups...
...one empty, one filled - both Avi's - were at our Seder table.
Avi owned two Kiddush cups - one for year round, the other for Pesach.
I placed his empty Pesach cup at the center of the Seder plate.
Our table was empty of his presence, his words, his Torah, his humor, his love...
The other cup, I filled with wine along side the Cup of Elijah. Nobody drank from either cup.
Jews continue to pine for the return of Elijah.
I continue to pine for Avi.
All in vain...
